About CentreChat.com
Just what is Centrechat about , and how can it help you ?
We here at Centrechat realize that ,at times, you feel as if the whole weight of the world is on your shoulders. There are only so many ways to vent your anger and frustration that don't end up with you going to prison or similar. Sometimes, you feel that you are all alone, and that you are the only person on the Earth who these things are happening to. Well, let me tell you, you are NOT alone; there are many of us out here who feel the same way. Centrechat is YOUR vehicle to express your anger and frustration: it is a place where you can vent, and also, perhaps, contact someone who has been in your position and can offer advice on how to get out of it.
CentreChat has been created by a team of people who have been to "The Dark Side", had every dirty trick pulled on them by Centrelink and other Govt. Departments, and emerged out the other side stronger and more able to deal with the trials and tribulations of being a welfare recipient, or, what John Howard and Co. used to refer to as, " dole bludgers".
We hope, by bringing together people with a problem and people with some answers, to create a Forum where useful exchange of ideas will result in a more informed, more positive, and much less frustrated frame of mind for people going through the daily trauma imposed on them by Centrelink and related bodies.
What is our Ultimate Aim ?
CentreChat's ultimate aim is to create a voice for people; a voice which will become
strong enough to be heard by the so-called " leaders" of our country. YOU can help
to achieve this by suggesting ways to achieve it; by making yourself heard above
the gushing of hot air that emanates from within the walls of Canberra. As long as
we have no voice, the "elite" will assume we are happy with our lot, and no changes
will occur. They rely upon the old adage of "divide and conquer"; as long as we
remain single, isolated voices, we will achieve nothing. That is where we have the
most work to do; to bring together the isolated voices so that they can appear as
one voice, which will be heard all over. Eventually, we hope to create enough "noise" so that we will be heard, and listened to, where it counts.
